Janet Young
From College of Fine Arts and Communications
Janet Young graduated from BYU in 1974 with a degree in Speech and Dramatic Arts. She went on to receive a Master's in Teaching and Learning and a second Bachelor's in Special Education.
In 2009, Young was appointed to be a new associate chair in the Department of Teacher Education at BYU. Her administrative duties include assuming leadership for the department travel committee, the appeals and grievance committee, new faculty support and induction, and preparation of the student handbook.
