Daniel Boyd Gledhill received a degree in BM Music Performance - Piano Emphasis from BYU in 2008 and was selected by the faculty in the School of Music to speak at the April 2008 Convocation.

In 2004, Gledhill took first place in the UMTA Collegiate Concerto Competition.
