Vicky Sue Schoppe Wilson was born on Christmas Day, 1946 to Theodore G. and Violet Beth Harding Schoppe. She was born in Provo but raised in Garden Grove, CA.

She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in art and interior design. She was a member of BYU's ballroom dance team. After graduate study, she became an interior designer with ZCMI.

Wilson painted, sculpted and designed. She had her own set of hand and power tools and had no equal in their use. Twenty-five years ago she transformed a tumble-down farmhouse, barn and pioneer log cabin in Cove, UT, into an engaging country retreat which she decorated with wonderful finds - antiques, milk pails, egg baskets, harness and the like.

Wilson passed away on December 29, 2010.
