Travis Lovell
From College of Fine Arts and Communications
Travis Lovell currently teaches photography at Brigham Young University, and is a free lance photographer with a love for portraiture and fine-art black & whites. A graduate from Brigham Young University, with a BFA in photography, his artistic style lends power and poignancy to what many would overlook as common.
His photography inherits a lot from his philosophy on life:
The world is as we see it. I want to look for the simplistic beauties that the world tends to overlook. I want to create images that make the viewer stop and rethink his or her definition of beauty. Beauty is not something that can be found through a photoshop filter. Beauty is found in imperfection and uniqueness. Truth is beautiful.
