Terry Hill

Terry Hill is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he was honored as the outstanding music education major. He completed his graduate work at the University of Arizona, where he held a teaching assistantship with the orchestra, and was assistant conductor of the university opera while earning a Doctorate in Instrumental Conducting.
His career has included work as a conductor, educator and violist. Hill taught music in the Provo City School District for over twenty-four years, and is presently a popular guest conductor and adjudicator throughout the West. He recently retired from Utah Valley State College where he was Associate Professor of Music and director of orchestral studies. He is also the director of the Utah Valley Youth Symphony and the American Fork Symphony.
