Summer Naomi Smart

Summer Naomi Smart is an actress who has starred in such movies as Passage to Zarahemla and Beauty and the Beast: A Latter-day tale. She has also been involved in many stage productions. Smart has also sung some commercially produced music.

Smart grew up in Salt Lake City as the youngest of seven girls. She is a Latter-day Saint and started acting in Junior High School. She received a bachelor's degree in music dance theatre from Brigham Young University in 2006. She was also a member of BYU's Young Ambassadors for three years. She was selected by the college faculty to speak at the April 2005 Convocation.

Smart appeared in “Hollywood Sings,” a musical review at the Fireside Theater in Wisconsin, where she performed nine shows a week. In 2008, she received the Chicago Jeff Award (Chicago area version of Tony Awards) for Best Actress in a Musical for her role in Sweet Charity.
