R. Brent Adams

A former designer in architects’ offices, R. Brent Adams specializes in the mentoring of students in the visualization aspect of the creation of animated short films.
Adams’ most recent accomplishments include overseeing the production of Student Emmy Award winning animations Lemmings, Petshop and Noggin. He also oversaw two more short films, Pinata and Pajama Gladiator.
Adams received his BFA in 'Environmental Design' and his MFA in 'Fine Art' from the University of Utah. He is currently a Professor of Industrial Design and Animation and teaches courses in 3-D Computer Graphics.
In 2008, Adams was appointed director of the Center for Animation.
