Patricia Reading

Patricia (Trish) Reading was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 13, 1963 to Daryl O. Reading and Darlene L. Holman. She graduated in 1981 from Placentia's El Dorado High School, served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Nashville Tennessee Mission ('84-'85), and completed a bachelor's degree in theatre arts studies at Brigham Young University in 1989. In the Fall of 2007, she traveled to England to begin a master's degree in voice studies at the University of London Central School of Speech and Drama, and received the degree a year later. She completed her degree in the fall of 2008.

She worked for twenty years at the SirsiDynix software company, and during that time, performed in numerous productions in Utah, including with the Pioneer Theatre Company, the Provo Theatre Company, and the Actors' Repertory Theatre Ensemble. She was also a member of the Actors' Equity and loved theatre and performing all her life. Some of the numerous productions she was involved in include: Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Angels in America, The Sound of Music, and Shadow Lands.

Reading passed away on July 13, 2009, at the age of forty-six.
