Neil K. Warner graduated from Brigham Young University in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in communications studies.

Warner is a sports reporter for the Daily Herald in Provo, Utah. He has reported on all levels of sports for Utah and also currently is the beat writer for Utah Valley University. Often referred to as "The Great Zuke," Warner has a 90% prediction rate for high school sports. His work has been published in over 20 magazines.

Warner has written four books and is the founder of a non-profit organization called The Second Chance Foundation of Utah which works to give people a second chance at life, education, employment and family.

In 2012 at the Utah Headliners chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists' annual awards festival, Warner received first place for his work as a sports reporter.
