Matthew T. Stubbs graduated from BYU in 2006 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

In 2006, he was awarded an Oscarson Discovery Grant which enabled him to relocate to New York City, where he interned with 1010 WINS AM, the largest radio broadcaster in New York City.
