Marilyn Berrett

Marilyn Berrett is the Dance Major Program Administrator and an Associate Professor in the Modern Dance Division of the Dance Department at BYU.

Berrett received a BA in Dance Performance from the University of Utah] in 1979 and an MA in Dance in 1984 from BYU.

She has done extensive work with dance for younger children and has studied dance as a subject matter in children’s literature. Berrett has also researched field work with teachers and students in elementary schools.

In 1995, Berrett was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from the College of Physical Education. She also served on the University Faculty Advisory Council from 1998-2001.
