Lydia Nelson

Lydia Defranchi Nelson graduated from Brigham Young University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Communications. In 2012 Lydia received 3rd place for Television Hard News reporting at the National Hearst Journalism competition. The following year she received a Gracie Award presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for her outstanding Hard News Feature, Nursing on the Job.

Nelson is currently pursuing her broadcast journalism career and is a news anchor for KCWY News 13 in Mills, Wyoming.
