Lawrence Hall Bray wrote his master's thesis, “A History of the Student Newspaper and Its Early predecessors at Brigham Young University from 1878 to 1965” in 1966. In it, he analyzes physical changes, finances, editorial policies, and content of student newspapers at Brigham Young University.
