Lara Beene

Lara Beene graduated from BYU with a BA in Theatre Arts in 1997 and with an MFA in Costume Design & Technology in 2004.

Beene has taught full-time at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is currently a part-time lecturer in theatre departments at Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, and Utah Valley University. She teaches stage makeup and costume design & construction courses as well as the occasional theatre history course.

In addition to teaching, Beene likes to freelance design and has worked with theatres across the United States.
