Kymberly Mellen

Kymberly Mellen has recently transplanted from Chicago, Illinois where she has been acting professionally for the last 12 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Musical/Dance /Theatre from BYU and her master’s degree in Acting from The Theatre School: DePaul University.

Performance credits include work with Writer’s Theatre, Marriott Theater, Court Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Ravinia Music Festival, Peninsula Players, Milwaukee Rep, Pioneer Memorial Playhouse, Promise Valley Playhouse, Sundance Summer Theatre and Jackson Hole Playhouse. Favorite roles include Adrianna in The Comedy of Errors, Emily in Our Town, Kate in She Stoops to Conquer and Cleo Singer in Rocket to the Moon. She has received Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role, an After Dark Award and been named Creative Chicagoan of the Year by the Chicago Sun Times.

She has taught at The Theatre School: DePaul University, College of Lake County, BYU and been an independent private acting/voice coach for over a decade. A member of Actors’ Equity Union, Screen Actor’s Guild and AFTRA, she can be seen in the central, but untitled role of the Blacksmith’s Wife in Joseph: Prophet of the Restoration, Casting About, The Quiet, numerous commercials and voice-overs and the upcoming films The Poker House and The Unborn.
