Dr. Katherine Boswell is President of Education Policy Associates, a consulting firm based out of Salt Lake City, Utah that specializes in issues related to state policy and community colleges.
Education
Dr. Boswell has a Ph.D. in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in Intercultural Administration from the School for International Training, and a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University.
Career
Dr. Boswell served as co-editor for the publication: Keeping America’s Promise: A Report on the Future of the Community College. Previously, Dr. Boswell served for six years as the founding Executive Director of the Center for Community College Policy, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Kellogg and Ford Foundations, and the Education Commission of the States in Denver, Colorado.
A former college administrator, Dr. Boswell has worked with community colleges and state policymakers across the country in identifying best practices and strategic policy issues at the state level.
