Kalotini U. Latu

Kalotini "Kalo" U. Latu graduated from BYU in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Piano and Organ Performance and in 2007 with a master's degree in Music.

In 2004 Latu and fellow BYU piano students were award recipients at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Teams competition. The group played Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which Kurt Hansen transcribed for five pianos as the highlight of the competition.

In 2010, Latu directed "Vivace," a showcase spotlighting local young musicians at the Covey Center in Provo, Utah.

At the opening concert of the 2012 Legacy Concert Series in American Fork, Utah, Kalo provided the piano accompaniment for a cello trio.
