In 2011, he collaborated with other student employees of the Laycock Center for Creative Collaboration in the Arts and BYU faculty to create the exhibit Beauty and Belief, which was featured in BYU's Museum of Art the following year. He served as a Motion Graphics Designer for the project.
In 2013, Gibson participated in the 2013 Peery Film Festival & Changemaker Week at BYU. He worked with Kelsie Moore, on a mini-documentary film about the contributions of Vittana, a company whose mission is to enable loans for students around the world so they can continue their education. He told the story of Rose, from the Philippines.
