Josh Harmon

From College of Fine Arts and Communications

After graduating from BYU in 1996 with a BA in Film, Josh Harmon worked at Disney Studios, doing live-action feature development.

In 2003, Harmon left Disney to focus on his screenwriting. With writing partner Scott Elder he wrote Snow and the Seven, which is currently in development at Disney, with Francis Lawrence to direct. Additionally, Harmon has written for Paramount Pictures, Sony Television, and the Cartoon Network.

He and his family have recently moved back to Provo to house-sit for his parents while they're on a church mission in Africa. He is currently teaching two classes at BYU and continuing to write screenplays.
