Jonathan L. Bullough graduated from BYU in 2007 with a degree in Sound Recording Technology.

In 2006, he was awarded an Oscarson Discovery Grant which enabled him to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee and intern at Peer Music as a personal assistant to creative director Rod Parkin.
