Irene Peery-Fox

Irene Peery-Fox is a piano professor in the School of Music at Brigham Young University.

In 2003 she was named a fellow of the Music Teachers National Association, a group of 24,000 collegiate members nation-wide. The honor signifies a professor who is committed to advancing the value of music study and to supporting the professionalism of a music teacher. Peery-Fox received the award after 23 years of teaching at BYU. Just a few years later, in 2006, she received the Maeser Teaching Award.

Perry-Fox was recently featured in the Utah Valley Magazine's Fab 50 article about gifted people from Utah. As a successful piano teacher, she enjoys having "thousands of musical children throughout the world."
