Greg Chandler graduated from BYU in 1994 with a degree in Public Relations.
He is a Marketing professional with a passion for growing ideas that deliver social and environmental change as well as shareholder value. Over three years of retail marketing experience with Walmart Stores, Inc. and nine years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brand management experience.
At Walmart, Greg leads the Marketing for Beauty, Personal Care, Pets and Household Needs. Prior to this, he was the architect behind Walmart's Earth Month sustainability marketing campaign and the Healthy Living platform.
In his 10 years before joining Wal-Mart, Greg had stewardship for some of the biggest brands and most loved products in America as a Consumer Packaged Goods Marketer: Ore-Ida French Fries, Pillsbury Pie Crusts, Hungry Jack Biscuits, Pillsbury Cookies, Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, Baked Lay’s, Sunchips, Baked Doritos, [Frito-Lay Crackers, Nuts, & Seeds], Go-Snacks, Quaker Cookies, Lay’s,/Doritos/Cheetos small-bag snacks. He is also known for creating new products like Baked Doritos, Mini Funyuns, and Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing.
Originally from Preston, Idaho, Greg earned his MBA from The Marriott School at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, in 1996 and holds a B.A. in Public Relations from BYU (1994).
Personal Life: Greg married Valerie Jane Lewis on June 19, 1992. Together they have six boys: Ryan, Jaron, McKay, Jamison, Trenton and Holden. Greg served a mission to the Georgia Atlanta and Georgia Macon Missions (1988-1990). He currently serves as the bishop of the Bentonville First Ward in the Rogers, Arkansas Stake.
