Francesca D. Forsyth graduated from Brigham Young University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in music performance.

In 2003, she was awarded an Oscarson Discovery Grant which allowed her to travel to Germany and study two weeks with renowned vocal teacher Neil Semer. The following year, the faculty in the School of Music chose her to perform a vocal solo at the August College Convocation.

In 2010, Forsyth soloed as a Mezzo Soprano in the "Messiah in America" presentation put on by the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization adult choir.
