Diane Bastian

Diane Bastian grew up in Buhl, ID, the daughter of Lowell and Alta Roskelley. She received a degree in piano performance from Brigham Young University in 1965 and has taught piano and organ since she was fifteen.
Bastian has spent much of her time as a piano accompanist, working with choirs and soloists ranging from young Suzuki violinists to professional musicians. She works as an administrative assistant in the Music and Cultural Arts Division of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Larry Bastian, and they have seven children and 14 grandchildren.
Bastian was invited to perform as part of the International Double Reed Society Convention in 2008. In addition to her performance career, Bastian has been involved in organizing musical events, most notably the annual Relief Society Music Festival for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
