Catherine Hyde Stambaugh

Catherine Hyde Stambaugh graduated from BYU in 1992 with a degree in Music Dance Theatre .
Prior to graduation, Stambaugh was a member of the Young Ambassadors from 1982 to 1984.
Stambaugh has performed throughout the world and in many New York regional theatres. One of her highlights was being in the Broadway touring company of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber singing the role of Christine from the Phantom of the Opera opposite Michael Crawford.
In 2005 she was invited to perform as a soloist and sing with Michael Ball in his “This is the Moment” concert at Abravanel Hall. He is England’s leading man in musical theatre and originated the role of ‘Marius’ in Les Miserables.
Stambaugh is also involved in various recording projects which include commercials, trailers and various movie soundtracks for Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She is the founder and director of the Lehi Children’s Choir which is now in its seventh year of operation.
She is married and is the mother of four.
