Candida Nichols graduated from BYU in 1999 with a degree in Design and Technology.

Since graduating, Nichols has built a career as a costume designer. She was the Associate Costume Designer over International Costumes on Light of the World which was a cultural event held during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. She was responsible for over 800 costumes representing 125 countries.

Most recently, Nichols has been named a Resident Artist with the Theater Mitu.
