Barbara Lowe

Barbara Rasmussen Lowe graduated from Brigham Young University in 1944 with a bachelor's degree in music with a double minor in German and education. Following graduation, she taught music at Dixie College in St. George, Utah, Star Valley High School in Afton, Wyoming, Utah State Agricultural College in Logan, Utah, and in the School of Music at BYU. While at BYU, she co-authored a Piano Study Guide and Workbook with William Foxley.

Lowe, her husband, and their seven sons formed The Lowe Family Dance Band, which played for dances all over the state of Utah for many years.

She passed away on September 4, 2015, at the age of ninety-two.
