Anesha Brown is a graduate student at BYU. She complete her undergraduate work at BYU in Communications in 2006.

Brown's path to graduation took many unexpected detours. In 2003 she became ill and spent the next two years in and out of hospitals, eventually being diagnosed with a severe form of rheumatoid arthritis called Still's disease. Despite her battle with the disease, Brown returned to school in 2005, and while undergoing chemo-therapy completed her Bachelor's degree. In 2008 she began work on her Masters degree.

Despite her challenges, Brown has given back to her community. She received the Outstanding Utah Woman award given by the American Diabetes Association Cure Care Committee. She also served on a human rights committee and as a Special Olympics coach, receiving the Coach of the Year award for central Utah in 1997.

Brown has been active in church callings as Relief Society president and activities coordinator. Her favorite calling in church is camp director, where she has served for the past three years.
