Amy Whitcomb graduated from Brigham Young University in 2011 with a degree in media music studies.

She performs both solo and in groups, and has been a member of the female a capella group Noteworthy. She also performs with the group Delilah, which was put together with singers from previous seasons of the popular TV show Sing-Off. Delilah and other Sing-Off favorites performed at the SCERA in Orem, Utah in May 2012. In November of that year Whitcomb performed at the festivities of the grand opening of the outlet stores at Traverse Mountain. In 2013 she was a contestant on NBC's The Voice. At the initial audition she sang Kelly Clarkson's Because of You and joined "Team Levine". She won the "Battle Round" of the competition. In 2013 Whitcomb participated in a national tour, also featuring local artist Ryan Innes.

Also in 2013, Whitcomb stared as Snow White in Lythgoe Family Productions' "A Snow White Christmas" with David Osmond as the Prince of Park City. She was also featured in the BYU Alumni Magazine for her musical accomplishments.
