In 2013, she participated in the Buckaroo: Cowboy Poetry in Motion Project, which was funded by a grant from the Laycock Center for Creative Collaboration in the Arts. The project brought together student musicians, poets, and choreographers, as well as professional cowboy poets, to produce an evening-length themed dance concert. For the program, Limas choreographed "His, Hers, and Ours," with fellow student Mary Vance.
Later in 2013, Limas had the opportunity to visit Beijing with other students from the College of Fine Arts and Communications. While in Beijing, students studied traditional Chinese theatre, and incorporated those techniques into their performance of Hans Christian Anderson's The Nightingale. The play was funded partly by the Laycock Center. Limas played the roles of Principal Dancer and Lady of the Court.
