Alla Volkova
Alla Volkova was born in Tomsk, Russia. She moved to the United States in December 2002 to attend school at BYU and was baptized five years later. She graduated in 2007 with a degree in Media Arts Studies. She is currently studying at the American Film Institute Conservatory. Among her projects there, Volkolva directed Lilith and the Woebringer, a cycle film about a demon boy named Deamien who is reluctant to possess a little girl for his term project because of his desire to be good (see photos). Alla is currently working on her thesis film, entitled Dreamland. In 2012 she received her MFA degree in Directing.
In 2010, Volkova was awarded an Honorable Mention and an Audience Choice Award in the Short Film Competition of the LDS Film Festival for her film I Love You Bernie Summersby.
