Alan Allred
From College of Fine Arts and Communications
Alan Allred graduated from BYU in 1984 with a degree in Music Education.
He is currently the director of the American Fork Symphony. He is also the conductor of the Timpview High School Philarmonic and Symphony orchestras.
Allred began as a violinist, and his career evolved to include education and conducting. He has taught at Humboldt State University and was conductor of the College of the Redwoods Sinfonia. He attended Utah State University, Brigham Young University and Arizona State University, where he earned his Ph.D.
